Introduction
Remarkable and steady progress is being made in laser display technologies. New types of systems, as well as high performance coherent light sources, are being developed and some of them appear on the market every year.
The first Laser Display Conference (LDC) has been organized as an international conference concentrated on laser displays and related technologies in 2012. LDC is intended to provide a central forum for the update and review of scientific and technical information on laser displays covering a wide range of fields from fundamental research to systems and applications.
The second Laser Display Conference (LDC'13) will be held at Pacifico Yokohama, Yokohama, Japan, on April 23 - 25, 2013. LDC'13 is sponsored by the Japan Society of Applied Physics in corporation with several academic societies and associations, and is organized by the Laser Display Technology Group of the Optical Society of Japan
